참 나를 찾고, 새로운 인연이 이어지는 공간, 그것이 바로 템플스테이입니다.

참여하는 모든 이들이 자신을 돌아보고 위로 하며 활기를 찾고 건강한 몸과 마음을 갖추고 비움을
통한 자연의 이치를 알며 당당한 꿈을 가지길 빕니다.
머물고자 하는 이들을 머물게 하고, 떠나고자 하는 이들에게 힘을 북돋아 줍니다.
1,700년 한국불교의 역사가 오롯이 새겨진 수행자들의 삶과 수행의 기록이 담겨있고 이 땅의
자연과 사람에게 귀 기울여 전해준 가르침과, 아름다움이 있습니다.
템플스테이는 그 모든 소중한 유산을 지금 이 시대를 살아가는 이들에게 전하는 다리와 같습니다.
모든 불교 수행자들의 참된 정신은 이 세상의 모든 생명의 존귀함을 깨닫고 실천하는 것을 전하고자
노력하고 있습니다. 이번 행사를 통해 참여하는 모든 이들이 귀중한 경험을 하고 새로운 인연을 만
나며 몸과 마음이 더 성숙해지길 바랍니다.

Welcome to Temple Stay in New York!
Temple stay is a place to find your True Self and become one with your original nature. We
hope that Temple stay allows you to clear your mind so that you can have a wider experience
of the world, and that this serves as a turning point when you return to your everyday life.
Temple stay is a unique cultural program which lets you experience the life of Buddhist
practitioners which preserve the 1700 year old history of Korean Buddhism.
All Buddhist practitioners strive towards respecting all beings.
Buddhism is taught as a way to the welfare and happiness of all using keys to reveal the true
nature of the world. Buddhist practices to maintain a right relationship with the self and with
the world and those in it.
I welcome you all and sincerely hope you can take this temple stay as an opportunity to begin
a journey to finding your True Self.
